Biography

Ene Agi is a Nigerian-Canadian storyteller and illustrator. Her portfolio includes comics, illustrations, paintings, motion graphics, creative writing, and gallery & museum exhibitions. While diverse in medium, style, topic, and tone - all of her work shares one common goal: to inspire human connection through storytelling.

Ene strives to incite empathy, laughter, healing, and curiosity within herself and others. With her work, she explores topics such as identity, relationships, disability, race, and gender with a mix of playfulness, earnestness, and introspection.

Ene holds a Bachelor of Design in Illustration, from OCAD University. She currently works as an assistant media planner, while spending the rest of her time creating comics, learning to play musical instruments, and writing songs.
